My tank gets a little to cold at night and I wasn't sure if heating pads are okay to use. The tank is on a wooden stand so can I stick it on the side wall? My bearded dragon is 5" and on reptile carpet.

Heating pads aren't the best to use for bearded dragons, get a ceramic heat emitter. You can always put it on a lamp dimmer switch to control the heat output. It doesn't emit light just heat. The red heat lamps can disrupt their sleep.

I agree, a ceramic heat emitter is best for use. However, they do get hot, so you will have to adjust how high or low you put the heat emitter (in distance) from your beardies enclosure. You dont want it to hottt... Around 70-75 degrees is good. Heat pads are knwon to crack glass sometimes if heat is too much! If your temps drop below 65 degrees at night, you need soemthing.... but if they dont, you dont even need anything :)

I'm going through same thing at moment but despite wanting a ceramic I can't mount it due to solid roof and shells inside meaning ant fitment would be too close to Puff

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
