New Beardie and new to the site

We recently added a new addition to our family, his name is Draco and he is 3 years old and sort of a rescue. So we look forward to talking with all of you and seeing your babies..

Hi I noticed the heat rock in the viv. Is it plugged in? They really aren't good for beardies from what I hear.

Yes we have removed the heat rock and returned it and got him a basking rock. As for What substrate is he on I'm not sire what you mean.

Like the dirt stuff that lines the bottom of the cage. Is that indeed what it is (dirt)?

No its called Sand Mat a Desert Terrarium Substrate for reptials
