Hi Lori, I saw you posted a question about using a log from outside but you posted it on your profile so I don't see any way to answer it. Can you post it here ?

I have a different question about a log for the smell of the vinegar finally went away. But I put it in her enclosure and it's about 4 to 5 inches from a small section of her UVB light. The rest of the log is sitting within the limits of the light. Is that section ok to have it left there? My UVB light is light 3/4 of the enclosure so the end on the left is open to natural light. If I need a closer picture I'll have to wait until tomorrow. She's in bed and I won't wake her or try to it do anything in her enclosure when she's in bed. I'm very particular when it comes to her, that's why I want to make sure she is safe with the way the log is. Please give me as much advice as you can so I can make her safe and keep her that way. Thank you.

I think it should be fine since she probably won't spend much time specifically in that spot. Nice job on the enclosure !

Sammie, once thought to be a male so the name was Sampson. Come to find out I have a little girl so Sammie it is. I love this dragon. She is a dream from when I was younger and I just got her last year and I'm 57. She is spoiled rotten.
