I have two Beardies ones named Rex and the others name is Moses.

I named mine Pushkin after the Russian poet/storyteller. I used to study Russian, and the sound of Russian just seemed to suit him! If I get another one, I'll probably call him Tolstoy.

I've been naming mine princess till I know whether it's a male or female, although the name will probably stick and it's tough luck if he/she is a male.. :lol:

I had the most difficult time trying to name mine when I first got her. Eventually, she kept responding to "Lizard" so I named her Elizardbeth. It's cheesy, but it gives everyone a good laugh!

Striker came with her name, and since she responded to it, I decided not to change it after I discovered she's a girl.
Eri is short for Eripio, a Latin word meaning 'rescue'.
Personally I like to choose names based on their meanings, especially if it's applicable to the pet's character. Otherwise, I am fascinated by other languages and will choose words that fit the meaning I'm looking for.
