Just like cutting a dogs nails. Here's my slogan:

"If it's nails are sharp and they won't slip, just grab your pet and clip the tip!"

You can also put some rocks in the tank so they can naturally file their nails down.

Here's a diagram of a reptile claw:

When you look at your beardie's nails, there will be a very thin pointy part then a thicker part of the nail. Just clip the pointed part off and they will be more dull. It is less stressful on the lizard if you trim the nails while he is sleepy. Try wrapping him lightly in a blanket or towel to calm him and uncover each leg separately to prevent any squirming or flailing.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
