My new girl

Got my new girl. Kids named her Zelda. She is 4 months old and 10" long. Have found she is a little pig. Gobbled up 50 dubias today.

What a cutie. And 50 dubias in a day at 10"? I hope you have an oil well in the back yard! :-D

Yea wasn't expecting her to go through that much lol. Started out like that again this morning, another 22 down.

Luckily managed to get a great deal on craigslist and got a colony going. 75 female/25 male and 500 mixed nymphs. Hopefully it takes off well.

Oh good, sounds like you may be able to sustain your own colony, though I have no experience breeding dubias. At her rate you may need to buy some additional feeder roaches for a while so you can leave the colony alone until it gets established!
