Oh no, I'm so sorry. I completely agree with AHBD, too many medications and too much stress from being at the vets...The Antibiotics they put her on were completely unnecessary, they don't treat yeast infections at all, and she had no bacterial infection. Honestly I thought that 90% of what they did was totally unnecessary or completely the wrong medications, especially the tail catheter and the Antibiotics...They are most likely what caused renal failure, not the uric acid levels, but there's unfortunately no way to prove that. A necropsy will only reveal renal failure...But they really did a number on her, they prescribed a ton of strong meds that weren't necessary at all, and then failed to advise you about probiotics for the yeast infection and her appetite, and serapeptase and black cherry juice for the swelling and pain, and instead gave her an extremely strong opiate narcotic that would definitely put added strain on her kidneys along with the completely unnecessary Antibiotic injections...This is very upsetting.
I'm so sorry, I'm sorry we couldn't help you more, but this is in no way your fault at all, you did everything you could for her, and you paid a supposedly experienced reptile vet and trusted them to help her, and all they did was make her worse by putting her on everything and anything they could charge you for...And that's just awful of them to have done. I'll be thinking about you and sending you positive energy. I'm glad she's no longer in pain, and I hope you are alright and not at all blaming yourself for this.
