She is a bit lighter than she should be but I know it will get better when she starts feeling a bit better.
Both the legs are pretty puffy but the allopurinol should help that?
The fact her tail is limp and she has no use of it is concerning though or will it be okay with a bit of time?
Bright eyed keeps me hopeful she is a stubborn beardie, her eyes are a little sunken in so could that be caused by dehydration?

Only via syringe. She has been geting reptiboost, critical care, mushed up bugs (mealworms, roaches and waxworms) + veg and its not very willingly she gets grumpy. Its all the juices I get from it but I was going to try using my blender?
<<< how about trying her on some silkworms (small about 1.5 inches long) , they have some beneficial natural anti-inflamatories in them (the Chinese have known that for hundred of years).
Also , rather than mashing up mealworm & roaches & waxworms & veg , perhaps some GrubPie and VegeBurger as a mixture ?

Her body condition looks over all good as far as weight but yes, the leg looks swollen. I'm not sure if there's any problem with the tail from the catheter....hopefully it's just slightly indented from where the tape/bandage were holding the catheter. It should be O.K

Black beard indicates stress and discomfort but no wonder from what she's been through. She DOES still look bright eyed at least that's a good sign.

Is she eating anything on her own, and what are you offering her ? If it's only via syringe, does she take it willingly ? Is the Allopurinol mixed with the Critical Care ? I'd personallly let her rest at home + give her the Allopurinol + syringe feeding with extra hydration + some probiotics and bee pollen and lay off the vet visits for now.

Yes the comfortan is like methadone for pain, colchicine + allopurinol for gout , fortum is an antibiotic.

Her yellow poo is ikely from just eating a liquidy diet....that can be expected. It sounds like you have her on a nutrtious syringe fed meal and hopefully as she gets better she'll get her appetite back. Right now she's still in stress mode from all the days away from home and all the meds.

Early hours this morning Astrid passed away. Found her dead in her tank, I am devastated and vets say the uric acid screwed up her kidneys and she was a high risk.

Is a necropsy a good idea? I have no closure right now I don't feel happy with the vets response.

Oh no, I'm so, so sorry ! :( I know you're just devastated ! I believe that the aggressive treatment with loads of different meds. may have contributed to kidney failure and even been as much to blame as anything. I always cringe when I hear that the clinic is keeping someone's dragon.....many end up dead..... the stress, the new place full of sights + sounds, possibly no real heat gradient in the tank, etc. Gout is hard on the kidneys but so are several of the meds. she was on, especially antibiotics.

I don't know that a different vet doing a necropsy would reveal anything other than kidney failure , and just cost you more money.

But my heart goes out to you, I know your'e really grieving and you tried so hard to help Astrid. You did all that you thought you could do.

Thankyou @AHBD least she isn't in pain anymore, she is getting buried under my apple tree, just want to put her to rest now she has been through enough.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I completely agree with AHBD, too many medications and too much stress from being at the vets...The Antibiotics they put her on were completely unnecessary, they don't treat yeast infections at all, and she had no bacterial infection. Honestly I thought that 90% of what they did was totally unnecessary or completely the wrong medications, especially the tail catheter and the Antibiotics...They are most likely what caused renal failure, not the uric acid levels, but there's unfortunately no way to prove that. A necropsy will only reveal renal failure...But they really did a number on her, they prescribed a ton of strong meds that weren't necessary at all, and then failed to advise you about probiotics for the yeast infection and her appetite, and serapeptase and black cherry juice for the swelling and pain, and instead gave her an extremely strong opiate narcotic that would definitely put added strain on her kidneys along with the completely unnecessary Antibiotic injections...This is very upsetting.

I'm so sorry, I'm sorry we couldn't help you more, but this is in no way your fault at all, you did everything you could for her, and you paid a supposedly experienced reptile vet and trusted them to help her, and all they did was make her worse by putting her on everything and anything they could charge you for...And that's just awful of them to have done. I'll be thinking about you and sending you positive energy. I'm glad she's no longer in pain, and I hope you are alright and not at all blaming yourself for this.

Thanks you @EllenD
This is my second day off work now. Only managed a few hours before I got overwhelmed by a catheter getting put in a puppy (work at a vet hospital but doesn't deal with exotics) with palpitations and feeling unwell.
I just wish I knew more. I was scared for months of losing her and won't be back to those vets.

She has been buried next to my other half's cat.

I keep blaming myself but I know in my head it's not my fault I'm not a specialist. Ever since she's been ill it's drove me to want my herpetology degree once I'm a nurse to prevent this happening to anyone else, I am still not dealing with it very well but all my other animals and my other beardie need me.

Thankyou for the support. <3
