My first super worms

I just bought my first tub of the super worms from the pet store, they came in a little tub with some bran, and do I need to give them any food or can I leave them in that tub. If I just leave them in the tub how long will they live.

I've never kept them alive in the store tub very long, I usally move them to something where they have more space. You can use almost anything as a container (small kritter keeper, Tupperware - just make sure it's ventilated.) give them some greens or cucumber to eat along with enough bran and/or oatmeal for bedding that they can burrow away.

I order them online and they can last for months if kept well.

OK thx for the help. How many can I feed to my 8 month old male that weighs 2oz

I'd keep them to less tha 5 per day and the rest of the feeders being crickets or roaches. I'd also not offer them everyday. My guys got hooked on them and it was a pain to break the habit.
