My beardie ate a fly!

Hello everyone,
My beardie just ate a fly somehow it got inside in his tank, i went to go get it but was too late :shock: Is he going to be okay?

Thank goodness! He did enjoy that fly, he was licking his lips like yummy then looking at me, any more? :lol:

Yep tasty treat. I feed the black soldier flies to my guy all the time and he goes nuts for them. House flies also shouldn't cause any harm.

While best not to make a habit of it, the odd housefly should not cause a problem. Certain insects e.g. wasps, fireflies are harmful.
