My baby is on its way!!!

The beardie stork is en route....currently in Louisville Ky... Should be here tomorrow am! I've been waiting since May 18th...and its been a l o n g wait!!!! I got the pedigree emailed to me tonight and found out for the first time that its a............ Boy! Gotta admit even tho I agreed to let them chose based on best fit for me....I really had my heart set on a girl. I had a name picked out (Fluffy Sue...sue is my middle name) and I hand made a pink bed and very girly pink blanket. Now I have no idea what to name him. but at least he will get here only 2 days before my birthday as he's my Surprise birthday present to myself

Thank you!! I was very pleasantly surprised at his floors too. I think you are right. He dies have an awfully mischevious look. I think he is quietly taking it all in and planning his "attack". :lol:

He looks so itty bitty in his giant 40 gallon breeder.. I have to keep looking for him..I keep thinking he got out or got smooshed by something! Hes so fragile.

Ooo congrats! He is beautiful and such a lil cutie. looking at his size I think it would be hard for anyone to tell if he's a male or female yet. So who knows when he's older he could still be a she. Unless the breeders have a good way of checking on babies.

Haha.. you weren't kidding about his pink blanket. It's VERY PINK. Looks totally comfy though! The poop looks like an alien spawn... :lol: You should send a picture to Terri to ask if that's normal.

He's very pretty. I hope he turns out to look like Rocket! This makes me even more anxious to get my baby. November is a long time... :shock: LOL

Well... Terri told me if I keep him in my current set up he is going to die

She said it is very bad he didn't eat... so ive been instructed to go buy a 20 gallon long tank and use nothing but paper towel and one basking rock and one shallow water dish..that's it. Said my temps need to be only 100-105 for basking. I need to use only an incandescent light for basking.
Currently hes in the 40 g breeder with non adhesive shelf liner
, reptiglo 10.0, halogen flood for basking with temp 109 Ish 80 on cool side.

She said I need to do it immediately .. but I gotta wait for stores to open.

I don't wanna kill my baby.... this is more stressful than a newborn baby

can't you put something in the tank to partition it and make it smaller?

Terri is very strict, but her care sheet makes perfect sense to me and fits everything that I have read in the past few months. I would just follow her instructions. She knows what she is talking about. Her dragons are amongst the most beautiful in the world.

I would ditch the Exo Terra Reptiglo and get Zoo Med ReptiSun 10 instead.

I have been having a hard time myself finding clear incandescent bulbs larger than 60 watts. I'm going to check Walmart out today. Incandescent bulbs are going to be banned soon. I should stock up.
