Monarchs feed only on milkweed plants that contain cardiac poisons. The poisons accumulate in the caterpillars, and are quite potent in the adult butterflies. Some milkweeds are less toxic than others, but NEVER take the chance using any stage of Monarch as a feeder. The Monarchs sold by Mulberry Farms are for educational purposes, not for feeders. (gorgeous critters, btw)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
