My male is currently flirting and trying to mate with our female, is it common that the male will stop eating as much during this time???
Also how long will he continue to do display this behaviour??

Not sure if I can answer your question, but my male started to flirt with my new girl, too. **lol**
But even though Scout ate a lot of crix, he still had around 10 left over and normally he has less than that left....

A male in full hormonal mode may go off food till He is done. Not every male does this.
