Losing teeth?

Do bearded dragons lose teeth? If so,are they supposed to be bloody?

It depends which teeth. The back/side teeth are literally fused to their jaws, and therefore should not naturally fall out. My understanding is that they can and do lose their front "fangs." Which one did your dragon lose? Either way, bleeding is not a great sign.

I can't really help if you can't take a look. You can gently pull his mouth open by pulling down on his beard a little bit. If not, you should take him to a vet.

yeah, i agree totally, some dragons ya cannot get that mouth open, and a vet can do things we cant do on our own.
my concern would that it might be mouth rot (stomatitis) ... which my rescue has but the damage it has done is severe b/c they let it go for a LONG TIME - but, if you catch it early on, you can manage it.
i dont know for sure, i just hope you can get him to a herp vet. GOOD LUCK and let us know whats going on please. i personally have never had my other healthy dragon lose teeth that i am aware of, or have a bloody mouth, so i kinda automatically am thinking gum disease or mouth rot.
