Thanks! She just hopped on my computer while I was looking at her pics on here, so it made me laugh. About her arm, she had to have it amputated, but she is doing so well! I don't think anyone told her its gone, because she's still a climbing machine.

What a cutie pa tootie Persephone is..............I know what you mean about a beardie that doesn't even realize their missing limbs, I have 2 babies as well. Why did it have to be amputated?

It broke and then the arm became necrotic so it had to go. At first we thought we would be able to have a little stub but the vet saw the necrosis had spread the hole thing had to go. I've read about your girl Bella! She really shows the strength of a bearded dragon. I can't wait to see my Persephone grow up and be a big handicapable girl like her

Awwwwwwwww, I'm glad you caught the necrosis in time, and she'll be just fine as she continues to grow..........just like Bella, she'll be buzzing all over the place. You'll have to check out the new pics on my thread, (below) they're all of Bella and it show's how much she loves her viv, we both have special girls!

Persephone is adorable! And her little nub is like my Brady's little arm nub too!! (well, really lack of a nub)
And I agree with Christine she will be just fine and all of the place! I have Brady with a little no nub like your girl, and then I have Foster who does have a nub. Doesnt stop them at all.

Aww thanks guys! I feel like we need a handicapable thread lol. This place is so ridiculously supportive and a wealth of information. I'm getting a ton of inspiration for my upcoming viv upgrades and build.

beautiful dragon, my father-in-law adopted one that had a fungal infection and had to have a hand and the other arm amputated...he was doing good for a while but i dont think the pet store caught the infection in time cuz he ended up dying shortly after he was adopted :'(...im sure you have but if not you should check out the youtube video of LG the handicapable dragon...she is awe inspiring to say the least

O Persephone is doing great! I got her from Laurens' Kora x Diablo clutch, and Lauren did an amazing job taking care of her. She's a vet tech and I assure you that she was the one that has ensured Persephone's perseverance. All I do now is keep my baby on track, and love her.

Koche, 6 wks old. I walked by her viv after a feeding frenzy and this is what I saw, lol.
