mealworms are a definate NO, they have to much chiten(sp?), which is basically there skin is to hard & thick for proper digestion. Also, they'er not very nutritious. Did I explain that right?

i have to agree. no mealworms you can get horn worms, butter worms, phoenix worms, crickets, super worms(once your beardoe reaches 16inches)some people feed them roaches. i would if it wasnt for my mom. you can also feet wax worms, but only as atreat as they are very fatty.

About the superworms, I called Mulberry Farms on Monday and asked them if they could give me small superworms as my girls are still to small for the regular size. The size they sent me are very, very small almost the same size as mealworms. They are obviously not mealworms, tho you can tell that.

As others mentioned stay away from the mealworms for beardies, far far away. Too much risk of impaction and too little nutrition from them. You can feed solely crickets as the live food source, but variety is a very good thing that can help keep an animal healthy. Use crickets as a main staple if you can stand them, and occasionally offer some of the other worms mentioned in the post above. Also, consider establishing a colony of Dubia's to become your main feeders as well. Will save you tons of money in the future.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
