Though the bulb will fit, its not ideal. T12 bulbs require more power at a given size then T8's, and T12 fixtures often use crappy magnetic ballasts.

i was wondering if a 48in shop light is too long. I was was told too use a 36" but trying too find fixture that size here is next too impossible. The only ones i can find are t5s(lots of 24"-48" t8).Would a long strip with 2 fluro tube do anything too the cool side. I a total newbie at this so i don't want too make any mistakes. Also what would be the best way to mount this in on or top so they can get the full benefit of the uv light.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
