Lexia,Kinno,Bobble,Chimaira&Hadyn. Pictures

Hello,

This is the story of how we got our two baby dragons. It all started when my daughter brought home a beardie the whole family fell in love with him. You know some teens get when they get moody *dont touch him hes my beardie* gah it hurt because everyone loved him and played with him fed him we all pitched in. She even go so moody one day she moved his viv to her room so no one could see or play with him. (girls and pms :roll: )So i made a thread http://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=98235 * I want a BD for myself* i guess there was a few people who were in the same boat as me. Being a BD grandma is tuff! (She of course got over it and moved him back down stairs) I wanted to get one who might need a little more care or love thought first thing *rescue* I was checking cragelist daily not one bd post in the weeks i was looking. Then a breeder(DistDrag) posted on the thread letting me know he had 2 babys just hatched out that had small issues, one with a crooked tail and one with a leg that didnt work. They were the cutest things! I still had to get the ok from my hubby once he seen those pics he was hooked!! So he let me take them both! They were still way to young for me to get yet so we were happy to leave them with the breeder(DistDrag)till they were safe to travel. He kept us posted on how they were doing and posted updated pictures. The day came to where they were ready to be sent to us. Oh boy i was so excited i couldnt sleep and kept a eye out the window for them to get here! <-- that was me 10 fold lol I heard the UPS man drive up and i was out the door!

This is the one with the left foot that dosnt work(My hubbys) He/she dosnt have a name yet.

This is the one with the kink in the tail. I call her Roo short for Kangaroo.

Heres a comparison between Chimera and Roo.

They are both from the same clutch they are 1 month 1 week old and 6 1/2 inches long.

We will never let more than 1 of beardies to be out of their viv's at one time. Except for the 2 new babys just for a while so we can sit and watch tv with them to get them used to us. They both have their own vivs. I have to say ty to everyone! I have learned so much since i have joined! I dont think our babys would be as healthy as they are if it wasnt for all of you!

Todays a better day my hubby helped me fix Kinnos hide so he cant go inside anymore. So he was actually basking 1/2 the day witch is great. Amber took Bobble and Lexia outside for a photo shoot i guess these were my favs.

Amber was super careful to not alow them to try and eat any flowers.
Lexia. She loves it outside.

Bobble. LOL he was giving her the stink eye.

Maybe tomarrow she can take Kinno out for some sun and his photo shoot.

Those are beautiful pictures of Lexia and Bobble. :love5: They both look so good, even with Bobble little case of stink eye! :laughing6: I especially like the second one of Lexia. :love10: I would bet that picture could win some awards, if you enter it anywhere. She is so gorgeous in that picture.

Hi Christy...glad to hear you say you had a better day. Though for some reason I still hear alot of pain in your words.

Thanks MaryAnn and Barbara.The grandbaby was here today so he helped. Hes getting to be a big boy he can now feed himself he makes a mess but its a good start Amber said soon as she snapped that picture Lexia tried to eat the flower i think in that picture shes eyeing it. Bobble has never changed i think he was hatched with that stink eye. The last one of him he looks calm.

I'm going to pick my fav photos of Roo and send them to walgreens and have them printed out. Im going to do a scrapbook of her life. I think this might help with the healing. At least im hoping it will. I might do one for each of them. It will at least keep me busy.

Christy, the pics are fab! Lexia and Bobble seemed to love their outdoor photo shoot. Stink-eye's and all! :lol:
It's too bad Amber did not take those pics earlier in the month, they would have been great for this month's photo contest.
The scrapbook idea about Roo sounds very sweet. I do hope it helps ease some of the pain you have from the loss of your sweet little Roo.
So, you had Darien yesterday, huh? How is that handsome little devil doing these days? Glad to hear he is feeding himself now. Boy do I remember those days! :shock: :lol:

Dhristy, it's going to take time to ease the pain in your heart. Scrapbooking is a great way to start the journey. I still go the memorials and read Issy's once in awhile; I also read through Angels thread, too. I miss them both, but not as badly as at the beginning. HUGS to you that you start feeling better. Getting that new little boy tomorrow will also help. If you ever want to talk, PM me anytime.

Thank you all. I still go and look at Zero's memorial too brings me to tears still. I cant bare to take her picture down as my avatar. I'm happy the new guys comming the thrill of the wait hasnt hit me yet. I'm sure it will come in full force tomarrow morning. I havnt set up anything its all empty and taken apart. I figure ill set it up when hes in the bath. My hubby still has no clue hes comming. I feel bad because i didnt tell him. But i didnt want to hear him tell me no. *sigh* i know bad wife! bad wife!

Dariens so dang smart. Hes doing hand signals since he cant talk yet. I wont alow him to walk around with a drink in his hand he has to ask me for it ill hand it to him he takes a drink and hands it back and then off he goes to play with his toys. My daughter had our carpets so filthy from him dumping out his drinks and bottles, hes dumped out full jars of babyfood on the carpet.She tried to hide it with moving the couch over it Me and Cheri spent 6 hours last week cleaning all the carpets and stairs. They look like bran new so that eased my stress some. Im crazy about thinks not being clean its my OCD i guess. I cant wait for them to get moved into their apt this weekend so i can have him over night and a few days at a time like i used to. The church they are at wont alow him any over nights at all. And CPS has to know where hes at, at all times too incase they make a suprise visit. Im so happy with CPS they seem to be doing their job.

My dad was a book collector. One day when I was in my late teens, I was in the back yard, and surprised my dad coming in the back gate. Oh my! Today is the big day! Christy, does hubby know yet or will he have a surprise waiting for him when he gets home today? :roll:

He knows, it was eatting at me.. I pulled the hi hunny you loveeeeeeeee me righttttttttttttttt? bit he knew something was up.................... Lets just say hes not happy.... He dosnt understand to him oh god another pet...... We had 5 before its not like this is number 20 or something......He dosnt have to lift a finger to help with any of them anyways. We dont have to buy extra food or anything.... I guess his reaction made me mad cause i slept on the couch lol I havnt slept on the couch in the 8 yrs we have been together.

Im excited.. 3 1/2 hrs intill UPS starts this route in my area.... So by 10 am im going to be going nuts.

I am helping neighbors across the street load their moving truck, starting about 9:30, but will check in often. I will also have my phone with me. I'm sooooooo excited for your baby Christy!!! I can't wait to see pics of him settled in! I know how you feel, my husband hates that I have so many pets...He hates alot of thing though! I'll be watching for updates from work!

I also wanted to say that the pics you took of Booble and Lexia were gorgeous!! Calendar pics maybe???
