this type of approach is 1,000,000,000X as powerful as flaming because they and up agreeing with you rather than getting angry and becoming defensive.
As tempting as it may be, in ANY situation it's always best to remain completely calm, perhaps a bit submissive..
and think about what they're thinking rather than listening to your own emotions.
If you play with their mind, you can usually make someone do whatever you want. ;p

LOL! Rocky was named by his new owner since he's a fighter. His original name was Zeek.

I did call him, it was a woman on the voicemail. He hasn't returned my emails or call, and I have been SUGARY sweet in both. I believe she comes with her tank.

if someone is under the impression that you like them, they're much more likely to cooperate.
also to try to take advantage of you if they're a jerk, but also to cooperate. =p ((but you probably know this already))

this morning they woke me up at 4am because one of them made this giant poo on their sleeping rock
and neither of them wanted to go anywhere near it.. xD
it was horrible because I was so groggy..

a trip to the Pets section of craigslist reveals fat beardies, and even a "Help Us Feed The Feral Cats of NOVA??" post.. :lol:

and bleh my parents would never do that, except when I was like 5 and had a hamster..
they'd clean her cage and feed her because I would always spill stuff whenever I tried to do it..
and they didn't want food//bedding//poo on the rug... >.>

but i'd always be scared to go somewhere..
cuz one time when my beardies were very little I went somewhere and left my brother specific instructions on what to do..
I returned home two days later to one very sick//DEAD looking beardie, and one veryvery angry beardie.
when I stuck my hand into their viv to check on the sick-looking one to see if she was even alive,
the angry, hissing, mouth-open(he was sooo upset D: ) one bit me ._.
he's never done that since.. the hissing OR the biting.. >.>
as it turns out, my brother didn't turn on the light(I left at night after I had already but them to sleep), the heat lamp, check their water, or feed them. They probably felt so abandoned.. I felt bad for not calling to check on them, but I assumed my brother would remember to feed them.. he always took care of my other pets when I would go places..

With the wide variety of other greens out there it is better and easier to just avoid any type of lettuce. Spinach should also be avoided as calcium binds to it and will not be digested by your animal.

we can prolly assume that she's not being fed suppliments,
and if he feeds her spinach she probably has really bad lack-of-calcium problems... Dx

But hopefully I can get her and help her. I have an AMAZING reptile vet. We'll see. I hope she's not REALLY REALLY old and he's just wanting to make a quick buck off a beardie on her way out.
