Jiffy's beardies, Someone New!** pg 42

I do not have a thread for all of my boys day to day adventures.
I will start one here. I have bunches of pictures and cuteness, but dont want to overload anyone, so I will add stuff along.

Waffle just turned 4 on April 2nd. I have had him since he was about 6 weeks old.
Sweet boy, laid back, doesnt like to eat half the time. And he hates my boyfriend Butch! :lol:

Foster is my Craigslist beardie. I had not been looking for another beardie, but saw an add on Craigslist that said looking for a home for 3 legged baby bearded dragon. Well, that was all it took.
He will be 3 on June 16th. I have had him since he was almost 6 weeks old. He likes to eat, and head bob and black beard, and just lay around being bright orange!

Brady is my newest baby, and was my 2009 Valentines Day Present. He was in a local petstore, he was missing an arm, had no uv light, barely being fed, very tiny, in nasty conditions. I tried for 2 months to get the store to give him to me, or sell him to me. They said they were keeping him as a pet. Finally my boyfriend got him for me for Valentines Day. I think he is a bit more persuasive than I am! :wink:
He turned 1 on August 1st.

Oh my gosh! That pains my heart! I absolutely hate when this stuff happens....poor guy explains why he was so grumpy....he was a good beardie and you made him so happy rescuing him. You gave him the best life possible! I remember when I lost Lenny...I had him for a month and I balled....I can't even imagine how you feel. Just think...he isn't suffering anymore!

Gosh, that's really sad. I know how much you hurt. Even if you had gotten to it sooner it wouldn't have helped. Tumors are hard to successfully deal with in humans, for beardies, it's impossible. You did love him and I know he knew it. He felt so comfortable with you he could be grumpy and not worry about you not loving him.

If you want to talk, just let any one of us know.

I came home last night to find that Duckie had passed away.
I am too upset to type lots about it now. We took him to the vet for a necropsy and they said that he had a large tumor in his abdomen and it eroded a blood vessel and he bled to death internally.

Im sorry to hear you lost duckie Hope your handling it ok

Gina, you come up with the sweetest goodbyes. Duckie will have lots of stuff to bite now that he's at Rainbow Bridge, but Roger will be there to take care of him, too. He's very patient with all beardie stuff, so Duckie will fit right in. It always makes me feel better to think that when a beardies passes away, Roger is the utlitmate beardie caretaker, that's why he's in beardie heaven, it suits him to care for all beardies & he's doing a great job, I'm sure!
RIP, Duckie, you'll still be loved now.

He is doing pretty well, not as upset as me. I think his main worry has been me and making sure I am ok.

So sad to hear about Duckie. I bet that was what made him so grumpy. I'm glad he had you to love him for his last little time here. I'm sure he is happy at The Rainbow Bridge. No more pain and lots of friends to play with.
