Jace, Zy, Sorin, Ava, Nissa, Koth, & Phoenix -->Vet Update

Hello,
My name is Liz and I have been a member of this website for a year now. I have had another blog about my reptilian babies (http://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=185026), but am starting a new one. I want to start the new year with a clean slate - especially since it will also start with a new moon. I want to move on from the problems of the past and look forward to the new adventures that lie ahead.
A little about me: I'm twenty-two years old and am an author - (A Shadow's Lullaby by: E. Rexer). I go to Western New England as a Creative Writing major with a minor in Philosophy. I own six reptiles, three bearded dragons and three leopard geckos. I have been with my boyfriend, Paul, for four years. I currently work two jobs - Heritage Woods (assistant living) and Table and Vine (liquor store) though I did try to quit Heritage Woods and was guilt tripped into working there per diem (once a month). I will be putting in my two weeks notice with them in February. Unfortunately it is a sad job and emotionally I cannot handle it anymore. Table and Vine doesn't give me the hours I would like, but I worked out a deal with my grandfather that will help me out financially. Now enough about me.

Sorry I never responded - yesterday and today have been so crazy. I' glad you enjoyed the videos - isn't Jace such a ham? They are crazy passive babies. Phoenix is such a handsome boy, but I feel that in my gut, he's a she.

And a happy belated Easter to you and your crew. I'm so sorry over you loss of Rubio. He was an amazing boy.

Me:
I'm just so tired and I don't know why. The anti-depressants were working at first, but now that I've had them for over a week, my body seems to have adjusted to them and they aren't really helping. I have a meeting with my doctor next month to discuss. I'm on a really low dosage so she said there was plenty of room for bumping it up.
Yesterday I finished painting the room and Paul finished building the basic frame for the leos - pictures will be posted below. Just need to put in the plexiglass and vents.
On Easter I got to go into the mall though it was closed because Paul was working as a mall cop that day. He took my to the roof of the mall (mind you this is a pretty huge mall) and I snapped a couple of pictures.

Jace:
He didn't touch his worms today. I'm not too concerned as he seemed alert. Will keep a careful eye on him as I am a very paranoid mother. He, Zy, and Sorin got to go outside yesterday.

Zy:
She ate like a little piggy today - she always does. I think she lives for the next meal. She HATED every moment outside - she always gets stiff and "paralyzed" when she's outside.

Sorin:
He didn't eat all of his worms today. He was great outside once he relaxed. He didn't try to run away once, just sat perched on my chest soaking up the sun.

She just finished another shed and Paul just gave her a sauna and did her toes - she still has a lot of trouble. She's looking pretty good.

Nissa:
She wanted out in the worst way last night so she came out and watched "Game of Thrones" with me and Paul. She seemed to have really enjoyed it.

Koth:
He still hasn't been eating, the little stinker. He wanted out last night as well so we took him out after Nissa and he got to watch some "Game of Thrones" as well.

Phoenix:
He has been eating less though I'm not too worried as he was getting pretty plump and roll polly. I guess he knows the weight he's supposed to be at. What a good boy.

Those pics are wonderful, I especially love the pic of Sorin looking straight on, he's so cute with that little strip of yellow on his beard. I'm glad you got them all out in the sunshine, it sure helps them feel better, even if Zy still gets scares. At least she's on Mommy, so she can relax a bit.

The first two pics show a lovely sunset, too.

And don't worry about not getting back to me, you have to take care of your end first. It's been a bit crazy here, too. I bury my boys today, see the doc first, then come back to get them & take the bugs I got over to Joanne's, too. We order supers through Jake for $40 for 1000, then I split them up. I also have too many adults females and males in my roach colony, I find when there are too many males, the females don't breed as well. So I'm taking the excess to Joanne's and trading for 1 1/2 to 2" juvies and sub-adults, as that's what my crew like to eat.

The leo's cabinet is coming along really well, Sorin is going to get his 40 gallon really soon. Can't wait to see how the leos like their new home. Hope Koth starts eating soon. Did you get a poop from him to the vet yet?

So, I've come to the decision that I won't be posting on here anymore. I'll still be checking my friends' posts, but I can't find it in me to keep posting. There are only two people as far that I am aware of that even read this and it feels more like an obligations and a chore than something to enjoy anymore.
