are ceramic heat emitters safe to leave on at night? It gets kinda cold at night and I don’t want my beardie to be too cold

Yes, that is the preferred heat source at night. Nothing that emits visible light. The visible light disrupts their sleep and can lead to health issues.

Do be careful of getting anything against the heat emitter. They get hot enough to melt plastics and could start a fire if something flammable were to get against it.
ALSO PLEASE make sure it isn't to close to your beardie. It takes a few minutes for them to get up to temp, so please keep checking how much heat is on your beardie until you know its not going to burn him, or cause him to move away out of the heat to try to cool down.

CHE are a great thing to have around. Only form of night time heat ill use. The issue people run into is not putting them on a dimmer or thermostat. A CHE running full power puts out serious heat, enough heat to create a basking spot for a tegu at 130 degrees. I prefer thermostats as its constant monitoring the temp and shutting the CHE off as needed. A dimmer requires constant checking of temps based on the temp of your home at any given time and often requires you put the che on a timer so it's not on durning the day.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
