Hi I was looking into a new male and found that my girl had one common grandparent.
That would be first cousins and considered inbreeding. Is that correct?
Thanks,
Mike

Personally that would be too closely related for breeding. Many of the suggestions I've read have said that dragons should be unrelated for 5 generations back before being bred together. There are varying opinions on this I'm sure, but inbreeding has already done damage to the north american dragon stock and it's better to go with dragons from different stocks/bloodlines and therefore produce (hopefully) stronger, more genetically diverse babies. Just my two cents.

Thanks, I like the idea of five generations, but its going to be difficult to find Rosy a boy.
But I will keep looking.
