Is he/she to close to the light

I have a new baby about 5 to 6inc long maybe a month old here is a pic of him and his light he is right under the light

How close is he to the light? Within 6 - 8 inches is usually the normal distance. That is a tiny beardie!

S/he was about 4or5 inc from the light. S/he is about 5 or 6 inc long
