Actually, in many states in the U.S. you are required to have a license and/or permit depending on what you own and what you sell. Some states require a license to sell any type of reptile, you just Google what your state's specific laws are, or contact the Dept. of Fish + Wildlife through Dept. of agriculture. And hots are venomous [ mostly only snakes, but also Gila monsters, ]....believe it or not some states allow these to be sold at reptile expos.
Yes, technically for those types of reptiles, but off of the top of my head I don't know of any licenses/permits for bearded dragons yet? I hope not!
I think the hot snakes should definitely come with a license/permit as too many people get themselves in trouble with those.
