Phoebe has a droopy neck too... she is fat tho which doesnt help - it just makes her neck look even droopier. Vet says she is healthy tho and I cant imagine she has a vitamin toxicity as she tends to spit her vitamins out (naughty Phoebe!) She can 'suck' it in tho, when she is trying to impress the boys LOL! I think her neck has been droopy since she was about a year and a half old - but her growth was much slower than Seka so it could just be something that happens with some of them. Hmmmm perhaps it's a girl thing!

I am still having a issue in thinking Seka is at all fat, the only indication I can see would be her neck, this is why I was thinking toxicity at first. Her fat pads are actually rather small. She has a bit of excess skin here and there too. So I am rather confused and might be pointing to the conclusion it is just her.

I have a question on Seka's tail. I did some digging and cannot find a specific answer to it. It is slightly wavy. Not really bad though. Just wondering if this is only a sign of MBD or growth deformity of some type. Is it just normal in some dragons? Is something wrong with her?
Otherwise she shows no other signs, no distended jaw, no masses on her limbs or body, all her toes are straight etc.. :?

Common sense Seka might be okay (But what do I know? Im beardieless right now. haha) But just incase im also trying to find more info for you too. I hope it's nothing.

I appreciate it, I had done a fair bit of searching, my searches yielded me with MBD or broken tails. :?
She is otherwise a very solid and sturdy girl.

You're doing alot better at researching than me, I get silly results and its difficult. I wish you luck and I do hope that it isn't fatal. (Maybe Seka has a crooked tail?)

Also if it helps she often times holds her tail very tense, rarely has it loose/relaxed.

Kazi has a kink about half way down his tail.

I just dragged Phoebe out of her hidey hole to have a look.... hers is 'bumpy' towards the end. I cant imagine that Seka would have MBD since you have been looking after her correctly - perhaps its just something that makes her special

You would need to appreciate it LOL! Phoebe puffed and hissed at me all day after that! I swear, one of these days she will get me!!! I do hope brumation doesnt make her totally hate me.....

I was examining Kazi's tail tonight and its kinda similar to Seka's. Now, his is just 1 bump (where it kinks) but its similar in the way that it 'bumps' if that makes sense. I considered taking a picture of it to compare but I dont take pics of him when he looks so sick.

Have you got any pics of her tail from before you noticed this? Could be that its something that has always been there but has just become more prominent as she has grown.

New thing with Seka I do not really see it as a concern right yet but, she put on 20 grams weighed in at 578 grams today. I picked her up and I am like whoa, you put on weight girly. Sure enough.
This picture is not the best and that is why I am putting it up, if she knew she would maim me in my sleep. LOL
She appears even larger in it because of how she is sitting.

She is becoming a woman. :wink:

Just wanted to put in my 2 cents =)

My female's tail is also bumpy like that, and darker toward the end. Looks actually very similar.
