Suz

Nothing wrong with that, it acts like a hide sort of. This is a good thing. It lets the dragon have a retreat if they so desire.

You know, I hadn't thought of that and it's actually a very good point. He seems to resent having anything in his viv that I've provided as a hide so I'll put it back up. When he decides to take his long siesta I can put a cloth over it and help create a darker place for him. Thanks Michael!

Just wanted to put in my 2 cents =)

My female's tail is also bumpy like that, and darker toward the end. Looks actually very similar.

Thank you, comments like this one has really eased my mind as to, if something is wrong with her.

I don't think so she is just over a year old. I have been looking and feeling to, worries me cause I don't know if I know everything I need to know in raising a female.

If there are eggies you will know soon enough! There is no mistaking the feeling of eggs

Phoebe was gravid at 9 months - they were fertile!!! I was totally freaked coz she was only about 13 inches long at the time and weighed about 110g!!! But she managed so even if Seka is gravid, at that size and weight she shouldnt have any issues :D Some seem to start laying at just over a year so just be aware of it being a possibility

That seems to be my purpose here, Michael - to cause you doubt and confusion and worry! LOL!
I must stop! I think of too many possibilities for everything.... I think I have had too many crazy beardie experiences!
I'm almost sure that Phoenix (Vickson420's little girl) started laying at just over a year old.

Maybe Seka will be one of those non egg laying dragons, the ones from myths and fairytale. :D

They do exist- Phoebe is a non egg layer for now it would seem. She hasn't laid any since her fertile clutches and that was nearly 2 years ago! :D

Yeah but, you live in the land of fairytale! LOL
Is it better to lay fertile or infertile clutches or does it not matter?

I don't know lol!
Phoebes first clutch were all fertile and she laid them in 20mins. Her third clutch were a mix and it took her about 3hours from start to finish. But that could just have been because the poor girl was completely drained of all resources by the third clutch.
I'm going to assume tho that infertiles are better because they are smaller and softer... Of course, even the genius that is me, could be talking out of her bum right now!!! LOL!!!
