Supposedly the strainers work, but they move quickly so you have to do the same thing. The neat thing about the phoenix worms is that they will suck in air and hold it tight when they are submerged in water. Just drop them in a container with water and they will float, while the substrate sinks to the bottom. Just be warned, the wet ones can climb glass, so move them off to a paper towel or something and let them air out a bit before putting them into feed if you don't want escapees

Truthfully... I just throw them in the bowl as is and they normally get most of it off themselves before they end up in the beardie's mouths. I don't clean them off anymore.

Well I have a juvenile, and I take the phoenix worm, pkace it in my hand and then roll it back and forth across the palm of my hand to knock off the stuff, works like magic though. I don't think it would cause a problem if they took some the stuff in with the phoenix worms

That's what I do. I have also noticed that it makes them more lively to if you give them a quick dunk in the water, including the sluggish black ones.

I have a small container that i got from the pet store. Its one of those plastic ones that come in a lot of sizes and the tops are..hmm its hard to explain Here its liek this

wow huge link :(

but anyways I just use the top of that and i put them in there. then i tap the top of that and all of the sawdust goes through.

but honestly the easier way is to have a cup of water and put them in there. then all of the sawdust goes the bottom and the PWs float on top. just pick them up with your fingers from the water and feed to your beardie. my beardie eats them so fast they dont ahve a chance tog et away!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
