Why not just post an add on your local craigslist. Or call your local exotic pet stores to see if they would be interested. Then you don't have to worry about shipping.

I have an add on creigslist and the local petshops want to pay me so little it would be like giving them away. Me and my business partner are looking to start selling larger quantaties and the only way to do that is to start shipping
Them. Because at the last reptile expo I did I had several people ask if I could ship and that they would order on a regular basis if I could.

When you are shipping you have to double package them. Small inside medium box or medium inside large box with an egg crate inside the smaller of the two so they have something to cling to. And then there are concerns about heat or cold to take into consideration. If you ship in the winter you have to worry about them freezing so they need a heat pack so they don't freeze and you have to make sure that they are shipped quickly, overnight or two days so they don't dehydrate and start to die. Some states also have laws against shipping in Roaches, so you may want to look those up so you don't get into trouble with that.

Ok Ill try that on my first shipment. And I will only be shipping in the spring and summer months so that in the fall and winter I can let my colonies build up and I wont have to worry about any special shipping. One other question I have is do I need to vent the box or boxes or are they fine like that?

Can you do a test shipment of dubia instead of lobsters :lol:

Smaller box inside bigger box, heat pack in winter, newspaper/other padding. Just don't put the roaches in 1 box because people tend to hate it when they open it up unprepared for the roaches crawling immediately in the first layer of box.

Your prices are a bit low. Good for your customers I guess but you won't be making good profit. Unless you charge extra for shipping, in which case.....it's still pretty low lol.

I use vented cricket boxes inside larger boxes with a heat pack in the dead of winter

I sell nymphs at $70/1000 at shows and $60/1000 to local shops.

I personally won't sell larger stuff.
