i live in upstate ny - can anyone in my area give me advice on where to find one?

Even though I do not live in New York currently, I sure know how to find one. My best advice is to go to a reptile show. If someone on here lives near you then you should go to them. Be sure to study up A LOT before you go and buy one. Do not make an impluse buy. Best of luck to you. Happy Holidays!

Yes, that is probably very accurate. Shipped ones have the chance of getting too cold, not enough food, etc, when they are shipped to you. Check the for sale section of this site also. Good luck!

Sort of agree. It depends on how long it will be shipped and if you are ready for it or not. Otherwise, I agree with Sara.

This time of year is touch and go with shipping.
The last Dragon I shipped I used 2 heat pacs and it was still touch and go till he arrived.
That was the very begining of dec.
You will have to wait for a mild weather window to ship.

I stand corrected. What I meant to say was as long as you have an experienced shipper, he will let you know whether or not it is safe to ship a baby! :lol:
