it is not secure enough and i am having trouble keeping a steady temp anymore i dont use mine for dragons though mine is for chickens HA but still it worked fine for awhile but now it just dont work right i ordered another so it shold be in soon i am trashing this piece of junk asap

What are you using to take your temps and the humidity with? If you're not using a digital thermometer the temps can be off. How do you mean that the temps aren't right? Is it not sealing up correctly, or is there a hole in it somewhere? There can be a lot of factors that may be making your temps act up.

If it is not getting warm for you it is probably the wafer switch. I have to replace mine every year they commonly go out. You can find them online if you need one let me know i will give you the website. I love my hovabator I haven't had any problems with it except for the wafer.

This is my first breeding season using a Brand new hovabator and im having the same issue with temps. I let it setup for a week and temps seemed to be good. Now I have 23 eggs in there from my first clutch and the temps fluctuate from 81.2f to 87.8f. I have two Digital thermometers one is sitting right inside the incubator for ambient temp it also has hygrometer and humidity is fine, the other digi. therm. is inside the egg container sitting slightly in the vermiculite.
Anyone have issues like this with a new hovabator?
It is driving me nuts, I think I might just buy this incubator

I have a mini Redbull fridge that im going to convert at the end of the year, but till then..............Who KNOws...

I love mine I actually have two now and my first one is 10 years old and still works like a charm I have hatched many clutches with it but I do have it on a thermastat to keep the temp exact

heck of alot cheaper for the incubator from bigapplepetsupply and comes with vermic and therm.
