40% is fine, as long as it doesn't get much higher. Unfortunately, those analog thermometers are very inaccurate. I would recommend getting a digital w/probe thermometer or a temperature gun. You may be surprised when your temps and humidity levels change because of a new therm.

I agree 40% should be ok but keep an eye on it, if its anew viv they normally take a while to settle down and the moisture to evaporate.

Usually 40% and under is good. I highly doubt that anyone could get really low anyway. Mine's at 35% right now. It can be high for short periods of time, like if you change something in your house. As long as it's not too high for that long, it's good.

I have dehumidifiers in my house, I think that may help a little. It could just be because it was recently summer and there may still be some warm weather. When it gets cold, it will probably drop. 45% isn't too bad, as long as it doesn't get any higher. High humidities can cause respiratory problems.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
