How many beardies sleep outside thier cage?

My bearded dragon has always slept with me, on the shoulder top of my futon...he seems to love it. Just wondering if anyone else lets their beardie sleep outside the cage?

No I sleep like a rock and would either roll on top of them or be so worried I would, never get any sleep

i dont because i have a dog in bed with me. but she would prolly sleep in bed with me otherwise

I've taken a nap with my beardie, but every time I moved in my sleep I would wake myself up in fear of rolling over him - so that was a one-time thing. Other than that, I sometimes do have him free roaming while I'm doing laundry or something, and he'll get all cozy in my bed while I'm busy. I let him sleep there for a while, but as soon as I'm ready for bed I put him back in his viv. He actually black beards and puffs at me when I wake him up, HAHA!

A couple of times but they slept in boxes filled with blanket next to the bed....
I once had tiny sleep next to me....
But Like Looneytoon said, i was so nervous i walk up every hour to see if she wandered off.... she now sleeps in her viv

I'm thinking about trying it sometime. I've let my rats and some of my birds sleep with me before. I can make myself sleep without moving when I need too.

Yeah, I would deff. not get any sleep in fear of him wondering off.. or me rolling over on top of him.. between that and the 2 dogs and 1-3 cats in bed with me, just wouldnt work out haha but he does sleep in my bed while hes out and decides he wants to nap and I watch tv

I know someone who accidentally rolled over on his beloved beardie and smothered it in his sleep and now I'm afraid to do it.

I have two, and mine take turns sleeping in bed with mom. They have their own pillow :roll: so I don't roll over on them, but there's always a dragon next to me when I wake up

Snoop often sleeps with in the bed with us. It took me a while to get used to it, and over my nervousness! My Man had Snoop for 3 years before this, and has been co-sleeping with him since he was a tiny baby! :shock: I don't know if I could have done that, but he's a massive little-man now. No worries.

I often get Snoop - I like to sleep on my back and he likes to cuddle down, uh, in the middle of my chest. :wink: If I ever want to roll over I transfer him to the inside of my arm and tuck his tail against my belly. Sometimes he doesn't even wake up. If it's ever bothering me to have him sleeping with me I'll put him on the pillow next to me.

He loves sleeping with us (he likes to cuddle up on his Daddy's chest with his nose tucked in against Daddy's neck) and if I over-sleep he'll actually wake me up like a cat would - by gently pawing and patting my cheek. :love5: He doesn't run around during the night and the second you put the blanket up around his shoulders he closes his eyes. It's like a light switch, haha. Blanket? Night-night! I'm up late with heartburn right now, and Snoop's in bed having Daddy-cuddles.

Lilly and I will take naps sometimes, with her on my chest, but I wouldn't let her sleep in my bed at night. If i did, it would be on the pillow next to mine, but I just don't think it's worth the risk considering how wiggly I am in my sleep!

Well Shadow sleeps out of her cage most nights.. She usually sleeps either on my shoulder as close to my neck as she can get or I set her up her own little pillow and blanket on a little mini pull out couch chair I have. She loves it. Drayco is still to young and wild to be out all night.
