How do you measure the weight of your beardie?

I mean, you can't weigh them by just putting them on the scale, right? I know that you can weight small turtles/tortoises by putting them on a cup, but that's cause they don't have soft bellies like lizards.

I use a kitchen scale and a bowl. tare the weight of the bowl then pop the beardie in and see the weight. You could use a bigger container for bigger beardies. You can get an inexpensive kitchen scale off of amazon or get a nice actual reptile scale. Kitchen has been working just fine for me.

I do the same. I have a flat kitchen scale but I use a big shoebox top on it. Tare the scale with the box and just plop Darwin into the box top to get a measurement. I keep a google doc with a log of his weight (and chart) so I can watch the trend and I also keep notes about which days he's been fed bugs (adults don't get bugs every day) and when he has his meds when needed.
