yah.. i can see two bulges, but i only feel one bump. i guess hes just small, and that would give reason to his bad attitude.
also he has a werd patch of scales on the front of his nose, it could be from hiting the glass so much. it looks like a scab, but its his color. and looks like its kind of flaking off. when he last shed that spot shed normal and the skin was texured and rough like it looks.
if i post a pic could you give an answer to this aswell
if you look in between his fourth and fifth scales on the left side of his face you will see he has a black spot, i dont know how long its been there, a few weeks i suppose. i know lizards get mouth rot, but it doesnt look like that, looks more like a freckle
and the thing on the tip of his snout does seem like a scab, but its been there sence i recived him....4 months ago?
so it may be a scar by now
no, infact if he seems to like it, almost as much as when i rub his back right between his spine and his shoulder, in that spot with the loose skin.. but yah, it doesnt bother him a bit

I have a book that shows how to sex a beardie. The males have larger and darker pores and are very visible. Females have very light and small pores.
I also have a question. My beardie Mooshu is 5yrs old, I recently got him this past Dec. I feed him super-worms (5 a month) and 3-5 wax-worms every couple weeks but, I have only just started feeding him the wax-worms last week.He gets large crickets with calcium powder on them 2-4 times a month. I feed him a spring mix of lettuce (no spinach or iceberg) raspberries and strawberries bc those are what he likes best. I keep his heat side between 90-110 and his cool side 70-80. He has a carpet for flooring,a log to lay under, a branch to climb on and a heat stone. He is in a 55gal tank long. He is about 18inches.
The problem is that the past week he has not been eating like I was told they did and how I have seen him eat (he was eating a plate in the morning 7a of fruits and lettuce and then half a plate of food around 1-2p of the same type of food.) Now he barely finishes the first plate. I have noticed that he is shedding on his face. Do they shed their entire bodies? He has not pooped in several days (3-5) he is not sleeping as soundly as before(you could pick him up at night when he was asleep and he wouldn't wake easily) but is sleeping quite a bit more during the day. I have heard several things about bathing however I try to give him a bath atleast every other day just for hydration and once a week(unless he gets poo or something stuck on him) to clean him. He has not pooped in 3-4 days? Do they not poo as often when they are shedding, do they sleep more and eat less? For the first time today he put his entire head under water but the very top even his eyes. I watched him closely to make sure he was not under long and after a few seconds he would lift his head up and look at me then slowly lower his head back down. Is that ok for him to do? I apologize for asking some of the same questions that have been asked but wanted to give all the info I could think of and just be sure it applied to Mooshu's situation. Thank you all so much in advance for your help.
Sincerly,

I don't know about the sleeping and pooping, but I've been told that beardies tend to eat a bit less when shedding. (Granted, I've been a beardie owner for less than a year, so I don't have a lot of experience with beardie behavior.)
I'm sure there's a good explanation for Mooshu's changed habits! And I'm sure that a more experienced beardie owner would have a much better answer for you than me.
