One thing that got me so mad is my mom loves my beardies but her boyfriend thinks they're disgusting. i could care less about his oppinion but when my mom showed him the incubator with all the eggs hes like oh if we get hungry i make really good scrambled eggs. i spazed on him :twisted:

Amigo escaped a few minutes ago. I was out looking for him and went to the daycare behind us to tell them to keep an eye out for him. They asked if they needed to keep the kids off the playground so he couldn't eat them if he was on it. I about hurt myself laughing. I explained he is only 12 inches long and has not started eating children yet so the kids were safe but that i would appreciate it if they saw him they would give me a call. I couldn't believe they thought he would eat the kids on the playground.

thats my kinda dragon there lol, one that eats annoying kids, does it happen to eat parents who dont care to disipline as well? if so i need him to come and stay with me for a while lol BAHAHAHAHAHAH

I recently brought him to the buick club meeting and one dude came over and scratched him on the head, only to be startled when he moved, not realising it was the real deal

I think of my beardies as my kids, and last night it turned into a funny situation.

We went to Wegmans to buy baby food for Selket and Sobek. We got to the checkout, and as the girl's scanning the jars, she asks "How old are your babies?"

I told her one's almost 2 and the other's almost 3.

She gave me a weird look and said "Well, why are you feeding them baby food?" I responded "Well, they don't get enough nutrition from crickets!" Then I realized what a fruit cake I must've sounded like and said "Oh, they're bearded dragons, my bad!" She looked at me like I belonged in the laughing academy, cashed my purchase and I walked out laughing to myself. :lol: I like being the weird dragon lady in my town!

I had someone come around touting political candidates, and, being the only person who ever answers the door, I've taken to grabbing one of my reptiles out of their enclosures before I answer the door. Kana was already out, so I went up and answered the door, and surprisingly enough the guy was like, "Oh, you have a pet," did his little shpeel, then said, "Hope your pet isn't too cold," since today was slightly chilly. First time I've seen someone actually not freak out at Kana, and even seem to care about them! :lol:

Cashier an isle over: "Omg is that real????!!?"
me: yesh and hes very sleepy its way past his bed time
Cashier infront of me: "does he eat people"
me: if your not smart enough to keep your fingers out his face then yesh he does
cashier in front of me: -i swear he went ghost white- um... ok have a nice day try getting a leash for him next time
cashier asle over: "aww tell the little thing bye bye for me hes a cutie"
