so lucky roland to have a luna dragon (dragon cave) im envious XD um lets see NOT BEING RASIST SOOOO PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT THAT WAY!!!!

ok: so im walking down main street with loki on my chest (im wearing a black shirt and since hes red its kinda hard not to notice him) and i was waiting on the light to change so i can cross the street. This black family pulls up in a car and stops next to me waiting to turn. The bigger lady in the back seat stuckher head out her window and asked "What is that on your shirt?" "Its a lizzard" "OH LORDIE!!..." she litterally fell back ward sideways in the seat as they started driving off i burst into laughter becuase the emotion on her face was priceless.

My neighbor screamed at the sight my 4 inch hatchling, more than once. Then she started hiding behind her boyfriend and kept yelling get it away get it away.

That was a barely ridiculous happening, but that was normal. There is also a time that I've been afraid of snake and jump to my boyfriend. We are laughing to each other.lol

For some reason everyone thinks its an iguana, strangely like 90% of the people who see it think its an iguana. i dont know why lol. I was on the train and this lady is like omg is that an iguana? im like no iguanas are bigger and green. and shes like so its a baby orange iguana wow so rare! and im like no its a bearded dragon. and shes like what do you feed it? i said kittens and small children in the most serious face and i walked off the train.

I went into Walmart and got babyfood (chicken, squash, applesauce) and some collard greens and a few other things. The gal checking me out at the register asked how old my baby was. I smiled and said "maybe 7 months, I'm not sure" She looked at me with SHOCK in her eyes that I'd NOT know the age of my baby! :lol: Then I went on to tell her that my "baby" was a Bearded Dragon and I needed the babyfood because she wasn't eating her bugs like she normally did. I left her with that same shocked look on her face, but this time it wasn't because I didn't know the age of my baby, probably more that I had a dragon!

I said yeah, it'll probably last him about a week, but I need it in case he doesn't eat his worms..the look that I got :laughhard: ...it didn't hit me till I left the store what she may have thought of me, :lol: :lol: :lol:

boy do i have some tales for this thread,lol.
oneday i was at the bank, realized i left my teller card at home so i went in the bank, filled out the deposit form, walked up to the nice lady at the desk(all the while pheonix is on my shoulder, he was being so good i forgot he was there lol. she noticed but didnt think too much about it until she started typing and it caught his attention. you guys know that slight head turn they do when they are interested in a noise :lol: so anyways it was slight so it caught her eye, she looked up and said "did that THING just move?" I said "no, its just a toy...s :twisted: and he moved his head again and then she stood up and said " okay now i KNOW i saw IT move that time... i told her he was battery opereated... that i thought the batteries were completley dead :wink: cleaverly she says " where do the batteries go" i told her they went in his belly lmao!!!! i got in the car and busted out laughing, i just couldnt resist guys... i just couldnt :laughhard:

unknowing people do the funniest things!!! then when i took phoenix to the labor day celebration i got a ton of "oh look its an orange iguana..." really? i'm not an expert and i'm sure there are somewhere in the world there are orange igunanas but even so there are CLEAR differences in an iguana and a beardie, even if you just look at the face of them... you can see big differences lol, i couldnt help but laugh at them... i mean if you arent sure just call him a lizard lol. i guess it doesnt make too much of a difference but still, it actually really bugged my dad when they would call him an iguana,lol. my dad told me "i love an ig, but people shouldnt be stupid lol

I forgot this one. I was at a picnik a few days ago and brought him along to show the other CB radio operators the lizard I was talking about. the response: "oh look, you've brought something for the grill" LOL

oops i forgot the post office accident lol
okay so i ordered roaches from cherly, and i had worms coming too... cherly is GREAT about getting me everything i need for my babies, so i waited a few days after ordering, no packages... called the post office... no packages are being held... few more days... no worms/roaches.... called cheryl, her notice said it had been delivered to the post office, called phoenixworms, thier info said had been delivered to post office, i took the emails up to my post office, the girl at the counter looked at the invoices that had been sent and the conframations from both of them... she was reading them and one said 500 dubia roaches and the other said 1000 phoenix worms... she was like "omg, you mean those boxes, one has ROACHESSSS AND THE OTHER HAS WORMS????!!! me: yes ma'am and if you guys have them and they are still alive my dragon would really appreciate them as he's getting hungry.... :mrgreen: her" OMG, please come back here and take a look and see if maybe i'm over looking the packages lol, of course my roaches were almost all dead... worms were good though lol :mrgreen:

HAHAHAHH thats funny! dont fall over now lol i knew yall would like that lol, it was funny, i had her convienced his batteries were in that adorable creamy belly lol!!! it was one of those gotta be there moments because i couldnt describe her face if i wanted to when he moved the second time... sometimes i wonder what she would of done if he jumped o her table lol bahahhahahahah

I have laughed so hard reading all these! I havent had my beardie long and never thought about taking him out and about (its not that warm here really) but come next summer, the first bit of warm weather and we are off visiting! One good thing I have noticed (well there are loads of good things but you know what I mean), I have 2 greyhounds and a guinea-pig as well as Basil the Beardie, I can't take the piggy out when the hounds are in the room as they are both ex-racers and view poor lil pedro as food, Basil however gets to sit on my pillow while the dogs lounge beside me on the bed. They never bother him. Of course I am always paying attention because you never know, but Tasha, my big black hound actually stood for a while when I was holding Basil and had a real good sniff, without one lick of her lips. Maybe it is because Basil is cold blooded and not traditionally seen as prey I am sure if he ran past them it would draw some intense attention lol so I monitor any meeting of species very carefully. Life has become ... intriguing with our new family member

Amigo escaped a few minutes ago. I was out looking for him and went to the daycare behind us to tell them to keep an eye out for him. They asked if they needed to keep the kids off the playground so he couldn't eat them if he was on it. I about hurt myself laughing. I explained he is only 12 inches long and has not started eating children yet so the kids were safe but that i would appreciate it if they saw him they would give me a call. I couldn't believe they thought he would eat the kids on the playground.

thats my kinda dragon there lol, one that eats annoying kids, does it happen to eat parents who dont care to disipline as well? if so i need him to come and stay with me for a while lol BAHAHAHAHAHAH
