I agree, some photos would help. If the swelling is minor, then it may be related to the shed. Their arms/legs/fingers etc will sometimes swell a bit to help loosen a shed - that is normal. If it's significant swelling, or if the skin looks wounded, then it may be a problem that needs to be addressed.
