my bearded dragon seems to have an upper respiratory infection, i'm taking him to the vet within a few days, but for the time being what should i do? he seems very uncomfortable and i hate seeing him in this much pain.

Until you can get to the vet, if I remember correctly, you can maybe bump up their temps a little bit, and make sure not too much humidity. But get to the vet as soon as you can.
Try to keep his temps to around 80 in the tank, overnight, to help boost his immune system a little bit.
As suggested, keep his basking temperatures optimal, up to 110. Do you have a vet appointment on monday?
Let us know how he is doing.
