Help me name!

This little guy, his name is Casper but I want to change it because I think he deserves a better name. Give some suggestion please

Apollo is a very cool and commanding name. Especially since the god Apollo was the protector from evil.. and casper was a friendly ghost but a ghost all the same. Apollo is also the god of light (basking). One of Apollo's tasks was to harness a chariot to drive the sun across the sky.

Draco -Latin for dragon, and is also a constellation in the sky.

Fido (had a cat named Fido once, and my friends thought it was a cute name for a cat, same would be true for a lizard)

Izzard-kind of cute name for a Lizzard...Izzy for short.

Ajax since he is lighter colored like ajax...call him Jax for short.

Ollie Just a cute all around name.

Dee Oh Gee... DOG...get it? pronounced DeeOhhhGe, emphasis on ohhhh. just a funny play on words. Especially since he is not a dog, but a pet all the same.

Edward Scissor Hand (from the movie) Edward or Eddie for short. We are always screaming about their long claws no matter how often they get trimmed. I also think Eddie is the name of the son in the Addams Family. You know, the whole idea of someone owning a creepy lizard, which he would have owned, only much bigger like their pet in the basement.

Apollo sounds cool, I was thinking about Ajax definitely one up there in my book. Decisions decisions...

I really like Apollo too, to be honest. He is light colored, Apollo is the god of light how cool is that, and the basking thing, if your friends put it all together, is just fun. He would be commanding the lights to shine down on his world.
And it's a very regal sounding name for an animal. I vote for Apollo!
But I only have a disclaimer...if you use it, I want to copy you if I ever get another dragon. :lol:

Haha, I know they don't come to their names...at least I don't think they have been known to do so, but calling my dragon "poop" would be hysterical, but oh so humiliating for both of us, if they could actually somehow mind meld with their human slaves. lol

What an adorable beardie, absolutely love the coloring & patterns.

Have to say that I love the name Apollo too and seems like a good choice to me especially with what the name stands for.

Karen, have to tell you that my beardies DO come to their names and when you call them, they instantly turn their heads to confirm it. :wink:

Apollo sounds good and is commanding! When I looked at him I thought Jason. From the Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts. You do have a Greek/Roman theme going on with Apollo!!

WOW that's awesome. Don't know if Rin would come to his name, he kind of just sits there for as long as we pay attention to him, and the only time he "comes" to anything, is when he sees me with a dubia baggie, or when he looks both ways then at me for that deviant escape route he often takes, while in the backyard.
