HELP! Beardie in shed, not eating & excessive drinking??

My beardie is having a really long shed. He has hardly eaten in the past few days but is drinking tons! Does this sound normal? I am really worried. Please help!

I should add that my temp are 109* basking and 78* cool side with a digital probe and checked with temp gun. Slate tile and paper towel bottom. He is still in his smaller (30X12X12)viv as I get his big boy viv (40x20x20)ready. I had a stool sample checked about a week ago and no parasites.

Sometimes when they are shedding, they get grumpy and dont eat as much.
Have you tried a bath to help with the shedding?

Yes he's getting daily baths. He hates them so I have to really try hard to get him to stay in for 5-10 min.
