Sometimes my dragons beard looks like this picture. Is it hormonal or something wrong?

Hi, that could be hormonal or just mood, generally it doesn't mean anything is wrong.

Beardies get black beards for a number of reasons. As long as your temps, uvb, and husbandry are good theres nothing to worry about. Did you just get the dragon?

Hi, no I have had him for about 3 months. He is about 7 months old. I have noticed him doing this twice in the past two weeks. He’s active and eating. I tend to worry a lot. My uvb and temps are good. Thanks!

@AHBD I think I have figured out that he did this before he pooped. Do you think that’s normal?

thats just the skin underneath my beardie has the same thing and we got it checked out
