Goldfish???

I was browsing around on youtube and came across a few videos of bearded dragons being fed goldfish. I wasn't planning on giving mine any but I am very curious. Is feeding BD's goldfish good or bad for them? :?:

No. Not good. Do not give him goldfish or any fish.
Think about it. Where in his natural environment would a dragon come across a goldfish? The trick to keeping a healthy dragon is to try to duplicate and maintain his environment in the wild.
There are tons of video on YouTube that show some horrible habits with beardies. When in doubt, come here first and ask. ;)

Goldfish are not a good diet supplement due to them being very high in parasite load. They are a very unclean fish.

That's exactly what I thought. Someone should tell these people that.. Apparently they do it on a regular basis.

It honestly has nothing to do with they natural environment as in captivity they are fed many things not local to them (such as brown crix, dubia roaches, silks/hornworms, supers, and any other number of things). Their food in the wild mostly consists of locusts which in the US we typically can not offer.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
