German Cockroaches?

Does anyone know the nutritional value of the common house cockroach (german cockroach) and if they can be fed to beardies? Obviously not just caught in your house, but a healthy colony. Thanks!

I would imagine it would be similar to Turkistans....so good. Most roach species are very similar, with them really only differing in shell thickness, and body mass. If it was a CB colony, then common cockroach species could be used. Remember, these guys are small, fast, and great climbers. They could easily infest your house should they get out....

That said, they breed like gangbusters....

My only concern would be parasites from a wild roach. That and like bestroach said the infestation chance goes way up with Germans. There are too many good, mostly non-invasive roaches to breed like Dubia to mess around with Germans.
