I wouldn't worry about him not eating, Misty didn't eat much the first day. I'm sure he's just getting adjusted. He'll eat tomorrow, you wait & see.

AWWWWW poor Gemini, getting sick! Im sure he will feel better after getting that up tho - as Barb said, it musta been lyin in his tummy from his dinner yesterday! Perhaps he knew something exciting was happening and just didnt spend enough time basking!

Hi girls
Around 7:30 I was watching him and all of a sudden he tried to eat the therm probe! :lol: I offered him a small piece of strawberry and he ATTACKED it :shock: That's all I gave him because it was too late at night for him to eat. I then took him out for cuddles and he was running all over the couch.He leaps!! :lol: I took a video,or tried to at least because it was hard to keep a hand on him and videotape at the same time.His belly was so nice and white! He drank a couple drops of water off my finger and then he went to sleep. Poor guy is tuckered out. I think he's feeling better though and I hope he wakes up hungry tomorrow. I have his lights set to go on at 6:30.I am so happy I have tomorrow off so we can bond some more :love5:
Oh,and he was eye bulging and rubbing his head on the log ALOT tonight,so I have a feeling he will have a full facial shed tomorrow. His lips were shedding today when I took him out of the box.

Diane, he is always cocking his head looking at everything,especially when I talk to him,he is such a curious little thing! I felt much better when I woke up from my nap,thank you for asking :wink:

Sounds like you have had lots of fun with him already. That's funny that he tried to eat the probe, bet he'll eat tomorrow with no problem. It's true, when the babies are wide awake, they surely do leap, bet he kept you busy. Can't wait to see the shaky video of you trying to keep him in tow. :mrgreen: Doesn't sound like he is stressed at all with the creamy white belly.

Yes, you'll have some bonding time tomorrow for sure. I'll bet his greens and fruit are in his tank waiting for him in the morning, am I right?

I actually saw him rubbing his little beard and head on his log, his colors will be popping after tomorrow's shed.

I love the head tilt, that melts me very quickly.

Ya know what dawned on me tonight?? I named him Gemini because it's my sign,but tonight I realized it's HIS sign too! He was born on the June 19th and the cut off point is the 21st! We are BOTH Geminis

I keep peeking at him while he is sleeping,he is so precious :love5:

Michelle, If I'd been here earlier, I could have told you he'll be fine after vomiting. Rosie did that the day after we first got her. We figured the temps were probably not quite right. Goldie also threw up one day, but with her she was soo hungry she ate 7 supers (or maybe 9) whole without chewing like she normally does. They both were fine.

By the way, he's adorable! You will have a snuggle bug on your hands. You know what that means, don't you? They insist on shoulder time as much as they can, up to 24/7.
