I'm so glad you found Franklin. I've following your thread & I forgot to mention baskets. My crew love baskets, Sweetie used to get in underneath my mini gardening tools & because of her colours blending in with the tools, it took us ages to find her. So I've learned to check all baskets 1st. Once I lost Sweetie, she was 2 yrs old & she'd found a way to climb up the stucco on my balcony wall. I caught her just before she would have disappeared around the corner, wow was I scared! But I did catch her & we put 2' plastic covered cardboard. They can't get their claws into it, so they would have to be able to jump 2 feet in the air & flip over the barrier. We've been doing this since Sweetie did her stucco escape 3 yrs ago. Then we had to move into a 1 bedroom apartment & most of our family/friends don't feel comfy with "lizards", so we completely beardie proofed the living room & put in a ramp with lots of toys to run around with. They all still try to escape but they can't jump over a 2 foot barrier. Not everyone wants to give up their living room to beardies, but having 5 tanks in the living room/dining room takes up alot of space! You could say I'm beardie whipped :whip: :laughhard: It means I go visiting alot!
