For you that have female dragons

What is the length of your dragon assuming its full grown? My vet told me mine could be a year old but she is only 16 inches. Just wondering what size yours are? Thanks a lot!

My Chloe is full grown and only 14.5" long, but she also suffered from malnutrition, improper UV, and overbreeding before I got her. She is very tiny as far as dragons go.

My average adult dragon is 19 to 21 inches at 1 year old.

Redrock got to about 16.5 inches long after her 2nd birthday. Rosie and Goldie are just about 16 inches long. Rosie never had a large appetite and Goldie was a rescue that never had any uvb for the first few months of her life.

i have a female german giant. 7 months 17.5 inches 380g. females have 2 growth spurts, one for length at around 3 to 4 months, and another for weight at aroung 1yr, gettin ready to reproduce and wut-not.

That's about right, yes.... One of mine is about 19-20 inch. the other is 17-18 inch, I think...but she is more heavily built and more muscular. the other one was a rescue, a citrus morp, and she is about 16 inch, I think.

I think the other one might be 21 maybe 22 inch. I remember measuring her a while back when during her first year. She's big I remember, but I'm not sure. I don't keep track. lol

No, I'm sorry to say that. I'm not really breeding anything right now. Maybe the smaller species of reptiles. They're easier to house the smaller they are! [chuckle] :wink:

wow quite a different set of numbers here. I am guessing then that mine could very well be around a year old. I cant believe some of your girls got that big!

Our oldest girl is only 4 1/2 months and is 12 1/2 inches long. our other female is around 3 months and is only 8 inches. so very different
growth rates.

Dragons go through multiple spurts of growth.

My biggest female is 600 grams and 20 inches with a slight nip
other 3 adult females are 18-19 inches and between 450-550 grams
