Flying Bugs In Dubai Roach Enclosure

I have a Dubai Roach Colony in my house and everytime I open up the enclosure I can see small bugs flying out of it. What is this? If it baby dubia roaches flying or what? & if not, what is causing these bugs to come?

They are most likely fungus gnats. They are common in dubia colonies. They are a pain to control. You can try missing a drop or two of Dawn dish liquid with a small glass of apple cider vinegar. Place the glass near the colony.

How often should I change this mix?

I rinse out the glass when a lot of dead flies are in the bottom of it, or when it evaporates. Just depends on how busy I am.
