flukers freeze dried crickets

whats everyones opinion on freeze dried crickets.. (Obviously not as the only food source, but mixed into a beardies diet)

They can be OK as a treat or in a pinch, but I try to offer fresh food whenever possible. You can gutload live bugs to make them more nutritious. Live bugs also provide hydration which the freeze dried bugs can't. Same argument with pellets/dry food vs fresh salads.

I've got he same feeling on it as cooper. They don't provide much of what fresh food can. I'd spend the money on other bugs myself.
