Feeding

About how many small crickets will a 4 month old beardie eat daily? I just want to make sure I am not over feeding.

Hi. They eat alot. Its not unusual for them to eat at least 50 a day and probably more. Beardies stop eating when they have had enough. So there is no worry to over feeding.

Depends on the size of live crickets.

At 4 months old, it was 20 medium (1/3 - 2/3 sized) crickets + 6- 8 medium (1.5-2" long) or up to 4 large silkworms each per day for Peppa and Toothless plus shedded buk choy greens and grated carrot and sweet potato as well.
